2001 Coastcare - 12 months of funding under the auspices of Central Queensland University
2002 Coastcare - 12 months of funding
Sue and Liz both work a volunteer hour for every hour they bill (or more). Together they coordinate legions of volunteers, network with countless government agencies, disseminate information worldwide and never tire - while having babies and other careers. 50% is a misnomer.

The Woongarra Marine Park Monitoring & Education Project is an initiative of the Australian Marine Conservation Society - Bundaberg & District Branch and is funded by Coastcare. In 2001, the WMPM&EP moved under the auspices of Central Queensland University where it has been granted reseach status.
