When can you fill in a survey?

You can fill in a survey whenever you are within the boundaries of the Woongarra Marine Park (or along the adjacent waterfront / beach area).  You can make your observations from one place or, if you are walking or travelling by boat, record the approximate range of your survey.  For example: Kelly’s Beach, Bargara, North of Money Creek.

You may also fill in several surveys on one day should you so wish - this is especially useful if you are noticing trends of your own.  For example: walking between 6 and 7am you recorded 3 surfers and 5 recreational fishermen.   Later, walking between 4 and 4.30pm you noticed a group of 6 picnickers, 7 people swimming and 2 jet-skiers.

Each survey is an individual snapshot of what is going on, and many snapshots will describe a bigger picture.
